Pool Status & Incident Log
Chronological history of service incidents, maintenance windows, release announcements, and important pool updates. Entries are listed newest first.
NPMiner 1.0.7 is now available and resolves the compatibility issue that affected NPMiner 1.0.6 on the latest HiveOS build and some older Linux versions.
Affected miners should upgrade to NPMiner 1.0.7. The original incident remains available here: NPMiner 1.0.6 compatibility incident.
Thank you to everyone who reported logs, tested replacement packages, and waited while we validated the fix. Your feedback helped us close this quickly and keep the miner reliable for real rigs.
We are aware of a compatibility issue in NPMiner 1.0.6 affecting the latest HiveOS build and some older Linux versions.
We are working on a fix now. A new build is expected later today, May 16, or tomorrow, May 17.
Thank you for the reports and patience while we validate the replacement build. Miners using affected systems may prefer to wait for the next package before upgrading.
NPMiner now includes experimental CapStash support.
CapStash can be mined with --algo capstash using CUDA or OpenCL. The miner supports compatible Stratum pools and solo direct-node mining through rpc://host:port. This support is experimental for now: we are evaluating miner interest, and if demand is strong enough, NushyPool may launch a dedicated CapStash pool.
- Fixed the startup error message when running the miner on pure AMD rigs without NVIDIA drivers.
- Added diagnostic information when NVIDIA RTX 50xx GPU initialization fails on HiveOS.
Download and setup examples are available on the NPMiner downloads page.
Special thanks: Thank you to @ivchobow for the recommendations, ideas, and testing.
To every miner testing NPMiner on real hardware: thank you. We build and mine too, so the details that matter after long hours on a rig matter to us as well: stable startup, clear diagnostics, low CPU usage, and predictable mining behavior.
NPMiner 1.0.5 is now available. This release focuses on practical hashrate gains and one devfee exemption fix for miners using regional NushyPool endpoints.
Download and setup notes: NPMiner downloads.
- HooHash and Cryptix have higher hashrate on both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.
- XelisHash has higher hashrate on AMD GPUs.
- Devfee exemption is now applied correctly when mining on the NushyPool US and Asia pools.
Thank you to every miner who keeps testing real rigs, sharing numbers, and reporting edge cases. Your time and feedback directly shape a faster and more reliable miner.
NPMiner 0.1.4 is now available. This release adds opt-in automatic updates, improves mmpOS API reporting, and includes extra stability fixes for long-running rigs.
Download and setup notes: NPMiner downloads.
New feature: --enable-autoupdate checks the signed downloads manifest, finds a newer package for the current platform, verifies SHA256 and the Ed25519 release signature, installs the update next to the current executable, and restarts NPMiner automatically. Without the flag, NPMiner only warns that a newer version is available.
Bug fixes: the mmpOS HTTP API now reports the correct bus_id, and additional stability fixes improve update handling, startup behavior, and long-running miner reliability.
Thank you to every miner testing NPMiner on real rigs and sending practical feedback. Stable releases depend on those reports.
NPMiner 0.1.3 is now available. This compatibility release expands Linux and NVIDIA platform support for older Ubuntu-based systems, Tesla GPUs, and specialized NVIDIA hardware.
Download and setup notes: NPMiner downloads.
Highlights: Linux builds support Ubuntu Linux 20.04+; NVIDIA Tesla GPUs are supported; NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier and NVIDIA DRIVE platforms are supported.
This release is useful for workstation, server, embedded, and specialized NVIDIA rigs. Thank you to miners validating releases across drivers, OS images, and GPU generations.
